The Gunsmith Teaser video just dropped! It’s short, but the implications are massive at just how customizable guns will be in the new Modern Warfare. This video cycles through what I counted to be at least 20 different combinations of attachments.

Gunsmith Teaser Thoughts

All right, all right… as Call of Duty enthusiasts, we are all familiar with gun attachments and how they work. Stocks and foregrips for stability while aiming down the sights (ADS), optics, etc. It’s all standard stuff. However, if you look closely, you can see that each “click” in the video showcases different combinations. No one setup looked the same.

So what does that mean? It likely means you’re going to have options… LOTS of options. Each of these will likely challenge players to create combinations for game modes as well as playstyles.

What the video doesn’t cover is perks in combination with attachments. In some of the older Call of Duty titles, you’re not limited by how many attachments you can have. In others, you have to strike a balance between perks, equipment, and attachments due to limits set.
