We are already about halfway through Season 4 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. What that means is that the mid-season update is just around the corner. Starting on July 27th, this mid-season update brings plenty of new content across Vanguard and Warzone. With us knowing everything to come with the Vanguard and Warzone Season 4 Mid-Season Update let’s jump right into it.
Before the start of Season 4, the Roadmap detailed everything that was to come during this CoD season. Plenty of this content launched earlier in the season and yet there is plenty more content on the way. Taking a look at the roadmap, and using process of elimination, players can expect new maps, new weapons, new modes, and much more.
Warzone
Fortune’s Keep has recently become home to hordes of the undead. Several cursed chests have appeared around the island and hold valuable loot for those brave enough to face a hungry pack of zombies. A new event, Cursed Ground, will task players with eliminating zombies near these chest to harvests Wisps to unlock the loot inside. Rebirth of the Dead turns eliminated players on Rebirth Island into zombies who must find and fight for antivirals to resurrect themselves in a new limited time mode. In addition, Titanium Trials has players dropping into Caldera with 300 health, a self-revive, custom-built loot tables, and so much more. With this also comes a Titanium Trials: Endurance event.
Portable redeploy balloon field upgrades will allow players to spawn in their own balloon, with less health and height, to quickly move around the map. Also, the armored SUVs have been modified to now include a nitrous boost. It seems like some players will be moving around the map fast and furious. Finally, camos that players have unlocked through Vanguard zombies will be available for use in Warzone.
Vanguard
As far as Vanguard-exclusive content goes, not much is coming with this mid-season update. However, what is coming is sure to shake up the game. Desolation is a brand-new map that pits players against each other in a mountainside perched labyrinthine village. Players should expect close-quarters combat on a map with great verticality.
Across Titles
The final new operator, Ikenna Olowe, joins the fight alongside Butcher and Hendry in this mid-season update. Furthermore, his preferred weapon is the brand-new Vargo-S assault rifle. This weapon combines a high fire rate with pinpoint accuracy making it an all-around good weapon choice. Players can unlock this weapon through either an in-game challenge or store-bought bundle.
As The Terminator once said… “I’ll be back.” Back he is now in Call of Duty as players will be able to purchase the T-800 and T-1000 Terminator units that will be made available throughout the month of August. These bundles come with finishing moves, weapon blueprints, and plenty of other cosmetics.
