Season 3 Reloaded, the mid-season update in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone is set to release this upcoming Thursday, May 20th, 2021. Plenty of new and exciting content are being introduced, and reintroduced, into the game so without further ado let’s jump straight into it.

First taking a look at updates coming to the store, we will be seeing the introduction of two new tracer pack operator bundles including two iconic 1980s action heroes as new operators and the centerpieces of these bundles. Firstly, in the Die Hard operator bundle is John McClane. Secondly, in the Rambo operator bundle is the ruthless revenge seeking John Rambo . We will also be seeing the introduction of new weapons such as the baseball bat (only in Cold War) to be seen during launch week, the ballistic knife being brought into Warzone, and down the line the introduction of the AMP63 pistol.

An 80s Action Heroes event will be introduced in Cold War alongside a new event in Call of Duty: Mobile, the Dual Wielding Guns Blazing mode. Zombies will also be seeing some updates with a new main quest in outbreak, new intel and new limited time mode ‘Cranked 2’ and a new world event with the Orda encounter.

Standoff, the iconic map originally seen in Black Ops II is finally being introduced into Black Ops Cold War as a brand new 6v6 map. Alongside Standoff will be the introduction of Duga as a new multiteam map! To coincide with the release of the 80s Action Heroes bundles and theme of this mid-season update, new game modes are being introduced with the cleverly named Die Hardpoint, Rambo’s Gun Game (coming in week 2), and a new Action Hero Moshpit! We will also be seeing new and updated challenges, medals, and rewards introduced with this update.

Lastly, Warzone is seeing quite a few updates centered around the 80s Action Heroes theme. New locations and side missions are being introduced into Warzone that will be familiar to fans of Rambo and Die Hard including a CIA Outpost, survival camps, and Nakatomi Plaza. New loot will be available as well in the form of a new combat bow scorestreak and more. A new limited time mode is coming to Warzone as well with the new Power Grab mode.
