Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been released and all of the new content is now live across Cold War multiplayer, zombies, and Warzone! With lots of content now available let’s waste no more time and jump straight into it.
Across Call of Duty globally, many changes have been made with the Season 5 update. A new Battle Pass filled with 100 Tiers of free content, including new operator Kitsune and brand new weapons in the EM2 assault rifle and TEC-9 submachine gun, is now available for players to play through all of the tiers. With 1000 new levels to grind for and 4 new prestiges, Season 5 is sure to provide players with plenty to work towards.
Cold War multiplayer has seen plenty of updates coinciding with the release of Season 5. Players can now duke it out on two new 6v6 maps, Echelon and the fan-favorite Slums. For those who prefer the 2v2 and 3v3 game modes, Showroom is now available for play. Later in the season, players can expect two additional 6v6 maps with the return of both Drive-In and Zoo. The new Flamethrower score streak is now available for players to scorch the competition. Double Agents, Cold War’s newest game mode is now available for play and, later in-season, fan favorite game mode Demolition will return to Cold War multiplayer.
Cold War zombies has received changes as well with the Season 5 update. A new Death Perception perk and Tesla Storm field upgrade are now available in round-based and Outbreak modes. The flamethrower is now available as a new support weapon. In addition, Outbreak has seen its fair share of changes as well including a new region, new objective, new vehicle, and so much more. Dead Ops Arcade 3 and Onslaught (available only on PlayStation) have seen updates as well.

Warzone, Raven Software’s free-to-play battle royale, has received a plethora of updates as well in Season 5. For those taken out in Verdansk, prepare for the new Rush-themed gulag. New mobile broadcast stations have popped up around Verdansk and these may have to do with the mysterious red doors. Two new perks, Combat Scout and Tempered, can now assist operators in their quest for victory. Perks such as Cold Blooded and High Alert have been updated as well. With playlist updates, weapon tuning, and more, Warzone has sure seen some noticeable changes.
