Season 6, the final season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is coming on October 7th! Call of Duty has released the roadmap and plenty of intel regarding the forthcoming season. With plenty of exciting information to cover let’s just straight into it!

The Warzone map will see some pretty substantial changes with the Season 6 update! Fissures in Downtown and Stadium caused by seismic charges will allow players to traverse the map like never before! These seismic charges were triggered from WWII-style bunkers that are now new points of interest in Verdansk. Further, for the unlucky, a familiar fight arena awaits those sent to the gulag. A gulag inspired by the original is back for those that need an extra chance to drop into the fight! Additionally, on October 5th, the Regiments system will be frozen in preparation for Vanguard’s clan system.

Forsaken, the final chapter in the Black Ops Cold War zombies experience will be introduced with Season 6! A new round-based zombies map, Forsaken is sure to excite fans of Call of Duty zombies! Veterans of Call of Duty zombies are sure to recognize the newest perk PhD Slider, a reskin of PhD Flopper. This perk triggers an explosion upon contact with enemies while sliding.

A new Wonder Weapon, the Chrysalax, has the ability to shift between a battle axe and a rapid-fire energy weapon. The new ARC-XD acts as a decoy attracting enemies that emits small aether blasts killing and launching nearby zombies. The Handcannon is also coming to zombies as a new support weapon! Onslaught, a zombies experience exclusive to PlayStation will also see updates in Season 6 with new maps, modes, and more.

Three new and exciting multiplayer maps are coming at launch of Season 6! Deprogam (6v6), Amerika (6v6), and Gluboko (2v2 and 3v3) are all available on October 7th!

Two new operators are available during Season 6. At launch through the Battle Pass at Tier 0, Alex Mason joins the fight. In season, Warsaw Pact operator Fuze jumps into the excitement. Arthur Kingsley, a main protagonist in Vanguard, is available for use after preorder the forthcoming Call of Duty title.

Five new weapons will be added into the fray with the Season 6 update! The .410 Ironhide shotgun, the Grav assault rifle will be available at launch through the Battle Pass. The Battle Axe is also available at launch through challenges or a store-bought bundle. The LAPA SMG and Hammer and Sickle melee weapon will be added in later in the season!

The Haunting, a Halloween inspired event comes into Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on October 19th!

The final four prestige levels are available for players to work towards in Season 6! With rewards along the way, there is plenty to grind for this season! If you reached prestige master every season and do so in Season 6, consider yourself a true prestige master!
