Season 3 Reloaded, the mid-season update to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone released a little under a week ago on Thursday, May 20th, 2021. With the second week of this update upon us, there are plenty of exciting changes coming so let’s jump right into it.

Last week we saw the introduction of the fun and fast-paced Die Hardpoint, a revamp of the classic Hardpoint game mode with a crank-like twist. Continuing with the 80s Action Heroes theme will be the introduction of Rambo’s Gun Game, a new take on the classic party game with new and explosive weapons added into the fray such as the Combat Bow, Death Machine, RPG-7, and the War Machine. Players will also be given a Stimshot as they fight through the twenty stages of weapons! Further, Snipers Only Moshpit returns as Standoff 24/7 continues for another week. Prop Hunt has also returned to the featured playlists while other party games can be found through quick play.

If you thought 12v12 on 6v6 maps was mayhem, get ready because Call of Duty has turned up the heat. Coming soon will be 6v6 on Gunfight maps. A moshpit of respawn game modes on such small maps is a recipe for plenty of fast-paced action.

With Season 3 coming to a close in about three weeks time, there is no better time than now to grind out those levels. Good news as Double XP is coming to Black Ops Cold War starting at 10am Pacific Time on May 28th and will run until 10am Pacific Time on May 31st!

The Black Ops Cold War store is seeing more updates this week with a few exciting bundles on the way. Fans of zombies are sure to like the Death Veil Maxis bundle, a nine-item Maxis bundle featuring a ‘Death’s Bride’ operator skin, two legendary weapon blueprints in the ‘Death’s Vow’ SMG and the ‘Death’s Protest’ LMG. This bundle also features other cosmetic items. The Road Rage Reactive eight-item bundle is sure to have your enemies spinning as it includes two weapon blueprints in the ultra ‘Direct Injection’ sniper as well as the legendary ‘Battering Ram’ SMG. Also includes are the ‘Petrol’ operator skin for Stitch and other cosmetic items. Lastly is the Zenya Cold Blooded bundle featuring Zenya’s legendary ‘Backflip’ skin, two legendary weapon b;ueprints in the ‘Devil’s Breath’ pistol and the ‘Heartless’ assault rifle, the legendary ‘Snow Leapord’ finishing move that comes with a new pet, and four other cosmetic items.

A fan-favorite feature from Modern Warfare is making it’s return to Black Ops Cold War; Battle Pass gifting is back! Using the Call of Duty Companion App, users can gift the Battle Pass to their Activision friends. When gifted, users will start at Tier 0 allowing them to earn all that is offered throughout the Battle Pass. To do this, users must have been Activision friends for at least seven days and their is a limit of gifting three Battle Passes per day!
