We are in the middle of Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. That said, it was time for the mid-season update. Yesterday, Call of Duty posted the Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded Roadmap. This update brings plenty of new content and game changes. With a lot to cover let’s jump straight into it.
Warzone
Warzone receives plenty of updates with Season 2 Reloaded, especially Rebirth Island. With the single biggest map update since Rebirth Island’s introduction, Security Area has been revamped into Stronghold, Prison has many changes, and a new Dock POI with a supply ship hits the island. Further, the redeploy balloons first seen in Caldera now line the skies of Rebirth Island.
In addition to the changes outlined above, three new modes come to Rebirth Island. Rebirth Resurgence Solos, Rebirth Payload, and Rebirth Blood Money allow players to experience the island in ways never-before available. These come after the introduction of Rebirth Iron Trials. Moreover, a Rebirth Reinforced event allows players to compete for exclusive rewards.
Vanguard
In Vanguard, players can expect plenty of new updates and content. A brand new 12v12 mode, Arms Race (inspired by Ground War) becomes available to play. With that comes a brand new Arms Race-only map, Alps. To traverse Alps, motorcycles, CD12 transport vehicles, and tanks have been introduced.
For those who like to test their competitive side, brand new exclusive rewards come to Ranked Play in Vanguard. Additionally, a brand new skill division, Top 250, will be obtained by only the world’s top 250 players.
Vanguard zombies also sees updates with Season 2 Reloaded. Brand new covenants are introduced to help players in their fight against the undead in Critical Expertise and Explosives Expert. Also, players playing zombies solo will now be able to walk away from their game without fear of being taken out as dedicated server pause has been introduced!
Across Vanguard and Warzone
Gustavo Dos Santos, Vanguard’s newest operator, drops into the fight with this update. Season 2 Reloaded also brings plenty of new bundles to the store including a Pro Pack, the Boston Breach CDL pack, and a new operator pack introducing Snoop Dogg. Finally, and what might be the most exciting piece of content introduced with this update, is the Armaguerra 43 submachinegun. This brand new weapon is unlockable through challenges in Vanguard multiplayer and zombies.
