Call of Duty: Vanguard is releasing in less than two weeks from the time of writing. We have already received information regarding the campaign, multiplayer, and zombies modes. Things are starting to heat up as Vanguard’s release is on the horizon. An in-depth reveal of some of the Vanguard multiplayer operators is now available.

PlayStation has covered four of the brand new operators set to take over Call of Duty: Vanguard on the upcoming November 5th release date. Through a blog post and a series of videos, players can learn about some of Vanguard’s new operators. With plenty of cover let’s jump straight into it.

Arthur Kingsley, a Cameroon-born, England-educated man spent most of the war as a British paratrooper and now leads the Special Forces. Arthur’s best trait is his dedication to bringing the soldiers under his command home safely. Arthur was the first conceived character and main protagonist of Vanguard. Further, players will experience the story of Vanguard from his perspective.

Players who preorder Vanguard can play as Arthur Kingsley now in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Next is Polina Petrova, a Russian soldier feared by Nazis and idolized by her fellow soldiers. Petrova is unique to other operators in that she did not enlist to fight, the war came to her. Starting as a nurse who wanted to fight, Polina has all the characteristics of a ruthless soldier. Petrova is based on the stories of the excellent female snipers who reigned hell on the Nazis as they advanced through Russia. Additionally, as a family girl from Stalingrad turned soldier, Petrova is ready to make her enemies pay.

Also revealed is Daniel Take Yatsu, a Japanese American sniper fighting to protect his fellow soldiers and home. Believing that America can be better, Daniel fights for the country that sent his family to internment camps. Furthermore, Daniel is a protector that uses his marksmanship to take down all that stand between him and victory.

Finally, Padmavati Balan is an India-born solider who lost her home twice: once to colonists and again to facists. Balan, thrust into the war amidst conflict and violence, lost all hope for a normal life. A fierce soldier specializing in jungle warfare, Balan is also a poetry and music loving nurse. Further, Padmavati understands the costs of spilled blood, giving her a unique perspective on warfare. Dreaming of an India controlled by its own people, Padmavati fights in hopes that one day they will prevail.

Also revealed through this backstory is a brand new shotgun and map expected to be seen in Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer.
