Patch 1.05 Deployed For Modern Warfare

14

As of October 28th, patch 1.05 has been dropped on all platforms for Modern Warfare. Here’s the abbreviated patch notes released by Senior Communications Manager, Ashton Williams, via Reddit.

  • Backend stability adjustments to help prevent crashes across all platforms.
  • Fix for a Special Ops Achievement/Trophy not unlocking after finishing all missions.
  • 3rd person footsteps are now silent while Dead Silence is active, as intended.
  • Hardpoint adjustments for hill rotations in: Arklov Peak, Azhir Cave, Hackney Yard, Rammaza + St. Petrograd.

It is a relief to see a quick fix to Dead Silence arriving in the game, as well as achievement improvements. Currently, Hardpoint is not available in public matches, but is being tested for competitive play.

Game stability continues to be a top priority for Infinity Ward. Right now, PC crashing and consoles being overloaded and powering off are an issue. This update seems to alleviate these issues.
